Keeper signs two-year deal at Bury

Bury have signed Hereford goalkeeper Wayne Brown after he turned down a new deal at Edgar Street. Brown has signed a two-year deal at Gigg Lane after he decided against extending his stay at League One new boys Hereford. The move is a coup for Bury as they beat off interest from other clubs to sign the experienced keeper. Brown's agent Jesse Learoyd-Hill has confirmed the player is looking forward to a new challenge at Bury. "Wayne is very happy to sign for Bury," Learoyd-Hill told skysports.com. "He had some great times at Hereford and he wishes them well. "He is looking forward to the new season and hoping he can help Bury challenge for promotion."
