Leyton Orient boss Martin Ling has confirmed his interest in former Northampton striker Poul Hubertz.
The O's tactician is on the lookout for a new target man following Jabo Ibehre's departure.
"He would be the type of striker we are looking at," he told the Leyton Guardian.
"We've got a list of strikers that we are looking at and he is one of the names that comes to mind."
Meanwhile, Cheltenham manager Keith Downing is not getting carried away with speculation linking the club with a move for JJ Melligan.
The O's winger has been transfer-listed and had been linked with a return to Whaddon Road.
Downing told the Gloucestershire Echo: "JJ is one of many players who will be on a list of available players coming out this summer.
"I want to sort my own camp out first and I am not going to panic into new signings early on."
