Kedwell future remains uncertain after recent transfer request

AFC Wimbledon have completed the signing of Mat Mitchel-King on a free transfer following his departure from Crewe Alexandra. The defender was released by Crewe at the end of last season after making 51 appearances during two seasons at Gresty Road. The former Histon stopper has now secured a move to Football League new boys AFC Wimbledon after successfully coming through a medical earlier this week. Meanwhile, the Dons have confirmed Luke Moore and Fraser Franks have re-signed for next season, but there has been no progress on the future of striker Danny Kedwell following his recent transfer request. A club statement read: "Fans will want to know the situation regarding Danny Kedwell. "This hasn't changed. Although we have agreed that we will listen to offers for his transfer, we won't finalise anything unless we get a fee that matches his value to this club. "Meanwhile, he continues here and will attend pre-season training when it starts at the end of next week."
