Luton Town teenager Keith Keane has signed his first professional contract with the League One leaders.Keane made his debut for The Hatters last November and has now been rewarded with a deal until 2006.
The 17-year-old has made two appearances for Mike Newell's side this term as Luton have made the perfect start to the new campaign.
Newell was keen to resolve the future of the Republic of Ireland youth international as he wants to keep the best youngsters at Kenilworth Road.
"It was something which I've been trying to do since the new owners came into the club," Newell told the club's official website.
"I feel that if we have enough belief in the younger lads then we should sign them."
