Bees hope veteran will sign-on

Barnet boss Ian Hendon admits he wants veteran striker Paul Furlong to remain at Underhill. The 40-year-old is on loan at Barnet from Southend and he has been in fine form with eight goals in 18 games. Now Hendon is hopeful that Furlong will play on for what would be his 20th season in football. "We'll see what happens at the end of the season," Hendon said. "Paul knows what I think about him, though. "He may decide that he feels he is too old to carry on playing football. But he has been great for us and I would love to have him here."
