Leeds' latest signing Nicky Ajose said it was a dream come true after sealing his move to the West Yorkshire club.
The 22-year-old striker signed a three-year contract on Tuesday after Leeds had agreed an undisclosed fee with Peterborough.
"It's fantastic," Ajose told the club's official website after becoming the club's seventh summer signing.
"It's been in the offing for a few days now and I'm delighted that it is done and I can't wait to get started.
"The process has been really fast. I heard about the interest on Sunday morning and a deal was agreed with Peterborough and I signed on Tuesday so it was that quick.
"I'm from up north so I know that Leeds is a massive club in England and has so much history.
"To say that I've played for Leeds United is a dream really."
Ajose progressed through Manchester United's academy before joining Peterborough in July 2011 and has since had loan spells at Bury, Scunthorpe, Chesterfield, Crawley, Bury and, last season, Swindon.
