Youngster agrees new deal at Elland Road

Leeds United manager Neil Warnock has expressed his delight after Aidy White agreed a new three-year deal to remain at Elland Road. The 20-year-old had been out of contract this summer and speculation suggested he could be set to secure a move elsewhere. A number of clubs, including Derby, had been linked with a swoop for the versatile youngster, but Warnock had always been hopeful that he would stay. Leeds have now been boosted by the news that he has pledged his future to the Yorkshire club, with the deal set to be officially signed on Saturday. "Aidy is a young player who we have high hopes for and we're delighted he's agreed to a new deal," Warnock told the club's official website. "He's good going forward and he's good defensively, and he's a big part of our plans here."
