On-loan defender Alex Bruce admits he would be open to joining Huddersfield Town on a permanent basis from Leeds United.
Bruce joined the Terriers on loan last month and he made his debut for the League One club in Saturday's 1-0 home defeat by Bournemouth.
He has not played a first-team game for Leeds since February and is keen to make the most of his opportunity at the Galpharm Stadium.
The 27-year-old is hoping to impress Terriers boss Lee Clark sufficiently to warrant a permanent deal when his loan expires in early January.
"I've come here with my eyes wide open and if it leads to a permanent deal then great," said Bruce in the Yorkshire Post. "But I'll cross that bridge when I come to it.
"I don't really know what the situation is at Leeds. So I've come here to play games and I'll take it from there."
