Whites boss to begin rebuilding

Leeds manager Dennis Wise is predicting a busy week in the transfer market, after The Whites were granted permission to begin rebuilding. Wise had been restricted in his attempts to rebuild his squad following their relegation to League One, but is now set to secure the signings of trialists and will also offer new deals to out-of-contract players. Trialists Leon Constantine, David Prutton and Curtis Weston are all set to put pen-to-paper after spending the summer training with Wise's side.

A busy week

Elsewhere, Rui Marques, Matt Heath and new club captain Alan Thompson are set to commit their futures to the League One side. Aside from the clutch of signatures he is set to secure, Wise is hoping to bolster his numbers ahead of their curtain-raiser at Tranmere. "It'll be a busy week," he predicted to the club's official website. "There's quite a few things I'd like to tie up. Hopefully I can bring some players in - it would have been nice to do it a month ago, but I'm sure over the next few days, we'll have brought them in." Wise will also be looking to add a goalkeeper to his threadbare side, with youngster Jonny Lund currently the only shot-stopper contracted to The Whites.
