Agent says striker is fully committed to Foxes

Jermaine Beckford's agent has rubbished any suggestion that his client could be on his way out of Leicester this summer. Reports had claimed that the Foxes would be prepared to part with the striker following an alleged falling-out with boss Nigel Pearson. Beckford only linked up with Leicester last summer, completing a switch from Everton. He netted 15 times during his debut season with the club and boasts a proven track record when it comes to goal-getting in the Football League. There would be no shortage of willing takers were the 28-year-old to be made available. His representative insists there is no chance of that happening, with Beckford's focus locked on a promotion push at the King Power Stadium in 2012/13. Asked on Twitter if Beckford had been released, Nick Rubery said: "No chance. He's Leicester's #1 [sic] striker and is looking forward to pre-season."
