Foxes goalkeeper rejects transfer rumours

Kasper Schmeichel has rejected reports linking him with a move away from Leicester, insisting he is happy at the club. Reports have suggested Tottenham and German side Schalke are weighing up moves for the goalkeeper this summer. However, Schmeichel, who joined the Foxes in a £1million move from Leeds last summer, has dismissed the speculation and insists he has no plans to leave the King Power Stadium. "I have been linked with so many clubs during my career and I take absolutely no notice of that stuff. It is all paper talk to me," said Schmeichel. "Papers will talk, but I am contracted here and I like being here. I feel very settled here. "I am very happy here. It has been, on a personal level, one of the most enjoyable seasons of my career, and I really enjoy being here. "I have a great professional life here. The training ground is amazing and we have some great coaches and manager. "I enjoy coming in every day and training with (goalkeeping coach) Mike Stowell and the other lads. "They are a good set of lads and that is all you can ask for. It is, for me, a very enjoyable time in my life."
