Leicester boss unhappy with striker after Peterborough defeat

Leicester City manager Nigel Pearson plans to 'deal' with Jermaine Beckford following an incident during Saturday's defeat at Peterborough United. Beckford refused to go up for a free-kick during the Foxes' 1-0 loss at London Road and Pearson was unhappy with the striker. Reports have already claimed that it could lead to Beckford being sold in the summer, but Pearson plans to address the situation internally. "I wasn't happy and I will deal with those sort of things internally," said Pearson. "It wasn't something I want to see. The fans will have their opinions, as do I. "We were trying to get back into the game and I am not going to go overboard publicly, but I will be dealing with things behind the scenes." Beckford joined Leicester on a four-year contract from Everton before the close of the summer transfer window and has scored 14 goals in all competitions this season.
