Forward makes switch

Brighton striker Nathan Elder has completed a £35,000 move to League Two side Brentford. The 20-year-old has failed to become a first team regular with the Seagulls following his £10,000 switch from Billericay Town in December 2006.

Elder started just three games for Brighton, his last appearance being in Tuesday's 1-0 defeat at Northampton. "Nathan has found his opportunities limited, he wants to start games but we couldn't guarantee that and felt it was right to let him move," said Brighton boss Dean Wilkins. Meanwhile, skipper Dean Hammond is believed to be talking to Colchester about a £200,000 plus move while Wilkins has been linked with Chesterfield captain Peter Leven.
