Former Yeovil loanee wants to make an impact in Premier League

QPR youngster Max Ehmer has handed the club a boost by signing a new long-term contract at the Premier League club. The 20-year-old, who has been with the Hoops since the age of nine, has penned a deal that will extend his stay at Loftus Road. "I'm really pleased. It's an amazing feeling to be signing a new deal at such an exciting time in the club's future," he told the club's official website.

Involvement

"This summer has been my first proper involvement with the first team and I've enjoyed every moment. "It's a great place to be around at the moment - everything you could ask for as a young professional." Ehmer was loaned to League One outfit Preston and Yeovil last season where he gained considerable experience.
Beneficial
With his experience of first-team football at a lower level he now wants to use that to improve his chances of impressing Mark Hughes. "I've been in and around the first team over the last few years and now I want to step up that level," he said. "Any experience I can have at first-team level this season will be beneficial."
