Midfielder happy at Wolves amid reported interest

Karl Henry has insisted he is unaware of reported interest from Queens Park Rangers, although he did almost move to Loftus Road earlier in his career. The Wolves midfielder faces increased competition for a place in Mick McCarthy's side following the arrivals of Eggert Jonsson and Emmanuel Frimpong, and speculation has suggested he could be a target for Premier League rivals QPR. Henry has welcomed the new recruits and is not paying much attention to the rumours as he is content with life at Molineux. "I've got to the stage where I'm happy here, I want to stay in this league and I'll continue to do what I do to the best of my ability," said Henry, who joined Wolves from Stoke in 2006. "As regards the link with QPR, that's the first I've heard of that. "The last time I was linked with QPR was before I signed here. I had a medical there and agreed a contract with them and nearly signed for them. "But I came to Wolves, I'm still very happy here still. It's news to me."
