Donnelly delight at deal

QPR striker Scott Donnelly is thrilled to have signed his first professional contract.

QPR striker Scott Donnelly has expressed his delight at signing his first professional contract.

The teenager, who made his first start for Gary Waddock's side in the defeat to Crystal Palace last month, agreed an 18-month deal earlier in the week.

"It hasn't really sunk in yet that I'm a professional," Donnelly told the club's official website.

"I've been training with the first team for a year-and-a-half now but it's nice to be one of them."

The 18-year-old is one of several products of Rangers' youth system to break into the first team this season.
