Scunthorpe United midfielder Michael O'Connor insists he is not planning to leave in the summer following the club's relegation to League One.
New boss Alan Knill was unable to keep the Iron in the Championship and is prepared for a summer overhaul at Glanford Park.
However, O'Connor is not looking to add to Knill's concerns after revealing he is happy to help Scunthorpe fight for an immediate return to the second tier.
"I have got a year left on my current contract, but I think there might be a contract on the table for me," O'Connor told the
Scunthorpe Telegraph.

"I am loving it here. I live in Lincoln, which is half an hour away, and I am settled.
"My kids are settled too, so I am just happy enough to be part of Scunthorpe United.
"I spoke to the gaffer last week and his assistant Chris Brass, and they want me to stay and build a team that is good enough to get back into the Championship."
Meanwhile, Knill expects goalkeeper Joe Murphy and defender David Mirfin to leave when their contracts expire at the end of the season.
Knill said: "I think those pair are both Championship players and should be performing at Championship level.
"Even though, yes, I want to keep them, I do not want to stop them performing at that level.
"It will be up to the players, it will be their decision, but I am sure there will be no shortage of takes for them."
