Blackpool have snapped up Claus Jorgensen on a free transfer from Coventry City.
The Faroe Islands international has signed a one-year contract, with the option of a further 12 months, at Bloomfield Road.
Seasiders boss Simon Grayson had targeted the 30-year-old earlier this month and pushed through a deal before the transfer deadline.
Jorgensen had joined Coventry from Bradford City in 2003, but has never established himself as a regular at the Championship club.
He has not figured for The Sky Blues this season and will now look to revive his career in League One with Blackpool.
