Norwich are playing with an unshakable belief as they continue their quest for promotion to the Premier League, according to Trevor Sinclair.

With five games to go, the Canaries are in the second automatic promotion spot, ahead of third-place Watford on goal difference and just a point behind Championship leaders Bournemouth.

Alex Neil’s side have 10 wins from their last 14 matches, and though they have a tough run-in of fixtures, former West Ham and England striker Sinclair believes they can successfully earn promotion to the top flight of English football.

“I think the manager is doing a great job,” Sinclair told The Morning View on Sky Sports News HQ. “They play great football and I think the momentum is with them.

Norwich 2-0 Sheffield Wednesday: Highlights

“The belief is definitely going to be there. I think if you look at the performances, you look at the stats and you look at the games that they’ve won, the belief is certainly with the players.

“They’ve still got to play Leeds. Middlesbrough is a difficult game, although it is at home and Rotherham are fighting for their life as are Fulham, so you look at that and you think they have a real tough, tough ask there to get a lot of points on the board.

"But they’ve got it in their locker but they are going to have to produce good performances.”
