Drury, 33, joined the Canaries from Peterborough in March 2001, going on to captain the club when they were promoted to the Premier League under Nigel Worthington, then remaining loyal when Norwich sank down to League One three years ago.
However, the veteran full-back has yet to discover whether he will be given a contract extension for next season, having helped Paul Lambert's side retain their top-flight status.
Norwich captain Grant Holt started in attack, despite having handed in a shock transfer request last week, which was rejected.
Goalkeeper John Ruddy, however, did not feature, as he was scheduled to join up with the England Euro 2012 squad for the first time on Wednesday.
Celtic boss Neil Lennon brought a mix of youth and experience down to Norfolk. Under-17s' captain Stuart Findlay was in defence and 29-goal Gary Hooper - a reported target for Southampton - in attack, while on-loan goalkeeper Fraser Forster returned to Carrow Road, where he was part of the Canaries' 2010 League One title side.

Former Canaries loanee Dani Pacheco - linked with a permanent switch to Carrow Road from Liverpool in the summer - joined Arsenal's Henri Lansbury, part of Norwich's successful Championship promotion squad from 2011, in the line-up.
Watt again stung Steer's hands on the hour with a fierce 20-yard drive which was tipped over, before Drury was substituted to a standing ovation from the 18,508 crowd.
Lansbury, who helped West Ham win promotion back to the Premier League via the play-offs during his loan spell at Upton Park last season, stabbed in Norwich's second goal with 20 minutes left.
Now-retired Darren Huckerby, who spearheaded Norwich's drive to the top flight in 2004, received a warm welcome when he came on for the closing stages.
Huckerby, 36, who had a spell in the United States with San Jose Earthquakes after leaving Norwich, was denied a grand finale by a point-blank save from Forster.
