Norwich boss Alex Neil was happy with his side's 1-0 victory at West Brom, a result that keeps their Premier League survival chances in their own hands.
Robbie Brady scored the only goal of the game early in the second half to lift the Canaries out of the bottom three ahead tomorrow's crucial Tyne-Wear derby.
With Newcastle and Sunderland both in the relegation battle with Norwich, Neil admitted he would watch the Super Sunday clash although he insisted his own team's efforts for the rest of the season are of greater concern to him.
"I'll probably watch the game but, to be honest, it's about us," he told Sky Sports. "We've got it in our hands, we've got both teams to come to our place and we need to win our games. We've done our job today, we need to make sure we do it next week."
Neil also revealed that today's game was the first of five that Norwich have highlighted as crucial in their bid to beat the drop.
"In terms of pressure, I think it's pressure you put on yourself because you want to win, you don't want to be at the bottom end of the table," Neil added.
"But we targeted these five games that were coming up and today was the first of five, we've managed to get a victory and we need to take that into the games coming up."
The other four see Norwich host both Newcastle and Sunderland, with a trip to Crystal Palace in between, before facing Arsenal at the Emirates to end the run.
Neil was encouraged by Norwich's display at The Hawthorns, especially as they made it back-to-back clean sheets with their first shutout on the road this season.
"It was really important," Neil said. "There's not been a huge amount wrong, we've just needed to make little tweaks here and there and the players are obviously getting better defensively in recent weeks.
"They'll take confidence from that and big John [Ruddy] will be pleased he's clean sheets at the moment, as well."
