Massive blow, says McInnes
Bristol City will be without Cole Skuse for a month after the utility man suffered a fractured toe in Tuesday's draw with Crystal Palace.
The 25-year-old was injured by a tackle that not only broke the toe but also dislocated it.
X-rays confirmed the fracture on Wednesday morning and Bristol City manager Derek McInnes could not hide his disappointment.
"It's a massive blow for us," McInnes told the club's official website.
"Cole has been a consistent performer for us and his versatility is a real asset.
"This is the news we were fearing when we sent him for scans and everybody is disappointed to learn we will have to do without Cole for a month."
Skuse has started 29 of Bristol City's 31 Championship games so far this season.
