Holloway wants Swansea forward to lower his demands

Blackpool have reached an impasse with Stephen Dobbie as they attempt to bring the Swansea City striker back to Bloomfield Road. Dobbie spent part of last season on loan with the Seasiders and the two clubs have reached an agreement that could see him return before the transfer window closes. However, the 29-year-old is refusing to lower his wage demands and Blackpool boss Ian Holloway says a deal cannot be struck until he agrees to the terms on offer. "We've agreed a fee with Swansea but we can't agree wages with the boy, that's just the way it is," Holloway told the Blackpool Gazette. "He thinks he's going to get all sorts of other offers and all sorts of money, and Swansea are telling us he's not going to. "They've had no other interest so far, so hopefully it will all take care of itself. "Would I like him? Yes. Would my chairman like him? Yes. But there are certain things we'll have to go through to get him."
