Bolton have signed defender Kevin McNaughton from Cardiff on a season-long loan.
The 31-year-old full-back returns to the Macron Stadium following his 13-match stint at the club during the first half of last season.
The Scottish international came through the set-up at Aberdeen and joined Cardiff in 2006. He has made nearly 300 appearances for the Welsh club.
McNaughton has over 500 career appearances and brings a wealth of experience to Dougie Freedman's Bolton side, who are bidding to return to the Barclays Premier League following relegation in 2012.
