Cardiff City are taking time over a decision on whether to sign Senegal midfielder Aliou Cisse.
The 30-year-old is currently training with the Championship table-toppers after being released by Portsmouth over the summer.
He appears to be in good shape, but Bluebirds boss Dave Jones will not rush into offering Cisse a contract.
"Aliou will continue to train with us," said Jones.
"He's fit and ready, but no decisions on the future have been made yet."
Back in August, the powerful midfielder trained with Cardiff's Championship rivals Leeds United and Stoke City, but now hopes to clinch a deal with the team at the head of the standings.
