Langley linked with QPR

Ian Holloway is interested in bringing Richard Langley back to Loftus Road.

QPR boss Ian Holloway has admitted he is interested in bringing midfielder Richard Langley back to Loftus Road.

The Jamaican international left Rangers to join Cardiff for £250,000 in August 2003.

"He is among a number of players we would like to bring in," Holloway told the South Wales Echo.

Holloway will look to offer a cut-price deal for Langley as they would be unable to match the wages he is on at Ninian Park.

Cardiff are currently in a dire financial position with several of their players being tracked by other clubs.

Cardiff boss Lennie Lawrence is being forced to cut the wage bill at Ninian Park and will wait until the end of the season before making any decisions on the future of his players.

"No decisions will be made until we know the outcome of this season - and where we are playing in 2005-2006," said Lawrence.

"We have to cut the wage bill, but that doesn't necessarily mean those out of contract will be going."
