Sheffield Wednesday have signed Manchester United striker Will Keane on loan until the end of the season.
The 22-year-old has come through the ranks at Old Trafford having joined them as a 10-year-old.
He scored a hat-trick against Chelsea in the semi-finals of the 2011 FA Youth Cup, which United went on to win.
Keane signed a new three-year contract over the summer but has only played once for the club, against Blackburn in a 3-2 Premier League defeat on New Year’s Eve 2011.
He has since had loan spells with Wigan and QPR and will now gain further first team experience at Hillsborough.
Keane will wear the No 48 shirt for the Owls and is in line to make his debut in Tuesday’s Sky Bet Championship home game with Birmingham.
