Nottingham Forest have made Marcus Tudgay's move to the City Ground permanent after he impressed while on loan with the club.

The striker was on loan from Sheffield Wednesday and made an instant impression on Forest supporters. The 27-year-old was the Owls top scorer last season and he immediately opened his account at Forest, scoring on his debut in the 3-0 win over Crystal Palace. He found the net twice more in the next match, the 5-2 thrashing of Derby, and has been rewarded with a two-and-a-half-year contract.
