Bougherra craves Addicks move

Madjid Bougherra wants Sheffield Wednesday to agree a fee with Charlton.

Madjid Bougherra has pleaded with Sheffield Wednesday to allow him to realise his Premiership dream.

The defender has impressed for The Owls this term and Premiership strugglers Charlton lodged a bid for his services this week.

The Addicks' opening gambit was knocked back by The Owls, but Bougherra is looking for the two clubs to reach a compromise.

"It's every player's dream to be in the Premiership," the 24-year-old told The Sun.

"I want to play there as quickly as possible and I know Charlton have made an offer.

"If everyone is happy, maybe I'll go to Charlton. You just don't know what the future will hold."
