Millers look at McMahon

Former Sheff Wed midfielder Lewis McMahon is trying to win a deal at Rotherham.

Former Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Lewis McMahon is trying to win a deal at Rotherham United.

McMahon started his career with The Owls and is aiming to clinch a return to South Yorkshire with Rotherham.

The 21-year-old spent last season at Notts County, but was released from Meadow Lane earlier in the summer.

He has been invited for a trial at Millmoor and featured as a second half substitute in the friendly against Sunderland earlier in the week.

Millers boss Alan Knill is looking at ways to add to his squad and also has former Nottingham Forest player Eugen Bopp on trial.
