New Wycombe boss Paul Lambert has completed his second signing of the summer after sealing a deal for Sam Stockley.
The 28-year-old full back was widely expected to move to Championship outfit Luton having trained at Kenilworth Road for much of the summer.
However, Lambert has moved quickly to snare his man on a two-year deal after productive negotiations were quickly concluded.
Stockley enjoyed a loan spell at Blackpool last season but upon Colchester's promotion was adjudged to be surplus to requirements at Layer Road.
It is expected that Stockley will make his bow in Wycombe colours on Tuesday evening in a friendly against Basingstoke Town.
