Duguid fears over knee injury

KARL DUGUID could be set for a longer stint on the sidelines after the midfielder revealed he is still feeling his knee injury after a month out.

The 24-year-old has only featured in three of The U's matches so far, but hoped to be closing in on a first team return.

However, despite four weeks of recovery the Hitchin-born ace has revealed he is still suffering from pain in the knee and is now set to see a specialist.

"I hope the specialist tells me that the soreness and tenderness I'm feeling in my knee is nothing to worry about," said Duguid to the Evening Gazette.

"I've already been on the sidelines for four weeks and I don't want any further setbacks."
