Striker Fuller ready to prove doubters wrong

Stoke City striker Ricardo Fuller believes the club will thrive on their tag of Premier League underdogs. The Potters gained promotion to England's top flight after they finished second in the Championship last season. Tony Pulis' men have been predicted to struggle in the new campaign, but Fuller is confident Stoke have what it takes to avoid relegation. He told the club's official website: "I know all the papers and press describe us as the favourites to get relegated, but we don't mind that. We love being underdogs, it suits us perfectly. "Nobody predicted us to get promoted at the start of last season, like nobody is predicting us to stay up this season. "We have so much belief and heart in the squad and that is going to play an important part this season. "Everyone saw how close we were last season and how hard we worked to achieve promotion, and believe me we will be working even harder this year to make sure we stay up."
