Chadwick thrilled with move

Luke Chadwick has expressed delight at sealing his loan move from Stoke to Norwich.

Luke Chadwick has expressed delight at sealing his loan move from Stoke City to Norwich City.

The 25-year-old inked a loan deal until January after passing a medical on Monday morning and he is relishing the prospect of working under Canaries chief Peter Grant.

"I`m thrilled to be coming to Norwich," Chadwick told the club's website. "I know Peter Grant from our time at West Ham and Norwich is a tremendous club.

"I was devastated when the move fell through in the summer and I`m delighted to be joining now."

The capture of Chadwick, which could be made permanent in January, will come as a boost to Grant who lost Lee Croft to injury last month, but Stoke chief Tony Pulis is sad to see the winger move on.

"I'm disappointed to be losing a smashing member of the squad like Luke, but I understand his reasons and the club is doing the right thing by him in the circumstances," said Pulis.

"We looked into all the reasons for his failure to finish so many matches this season, but maybe the real explanation was all his travelling and the distraction of his family."
