Liverpool fan Nigel Adkins is relishing the chance to take his Southampton side to Everton on Saturday.

Momentum

Southampton are looking to gain some momentum after beating Aston Villa last week to claim their first points of the season. But the Toffees are third after beating Swansea 3-0 last week to make it four wins from five. "It is a tough game and one we are looking forward to," added Adkins. "Goodison Park is a real challenging place to go. I am from Merseyside, I've been there on numerous occasions and you know that the supporters there are very passionate. "They demand the players do well and Everton are probably having the best start they've had for many, many years." Jack Cork picked up a knee injury in midweek and Tadanari Lee (elbow) will also miss out, while Emmanuel Mayuka and Luke Shaw are both doubtful.
