Diawara eyes English return

PARIS SAINT GERMAIN ace Kaba Diawara has his heart set on a return to England.

The former Arsenal striker has revealed he would like to try his luck again in England as he failed to show his best form there during his time at Highbury.

Diawara's future is up in the air as he spent last season on loan at Nice, but he is unlikely to make the move permanent as they cannot afford to sign him.

The 27-year-old would like to be given a fresh chance to kick-start his career at PSG, but he would like to move to England if he is forced to leave the French capital.

"I am still attracted by England. I don't feel I made a name for myself there, during my last stay," Diawara told France Football.

"At Arsenal, it didn't go off smoothly. I am dreaming of a club that trusts me.

"But be careful, I still have the idea to come back to PSG to make a name for myself there."

Southampton have been linked with the former West Ham front-runner, but the club have initially played down the reports.
