Wolves manager Stale Solbakken has insisted that Sylvan Ebanks-Blake will not be leaving the club in January despite rumoured interest from Ipswich.

The striker, who has seven goals so far this season, is nearing the end of his contract and Solbakken had previously stressed that both he and Ebanks-Blake are open-minded about the future, prompting speculation the striker could be a 'surprise' departure in the January window.

Solbakken told the Shropshire Star: "He's been unlucky in front of goal but he's been working harder than ever, his attitude is 100 per cent - on and off the pitch he's been superb.

"Even when he hasn't been playing, he's been encouraging the other players and been very positive. So I'm not thinking about him - I was thinking more generally, and not anyone in particular."

Ebanks-Blake is one of six Wolves players out of contract in the summer with Christophe Berra, Stephen Hunt, Ronald Zubar, Sam Winnall and Liam McAlinden in a similar situation.
