Sky Sports understands that ex-West Brom midfielder Somen Tchoyi is training with Black Country rivals Wolves.
The 29-year-old is a free agent since leaving the Baggies at the end of last season and could be seen as a short-term solution to the injury crisis at Molineux.
Wolves lost three wingers to injury last week with Slawomir Peszko, Razak Boukari and Stephen Hunt all on the treatment table.
Tchoyi scored seven goals in 41 Premier League games in two seasons at the Hawthorns and linked up with Wolves on Thursday with a view to a deal.
The international break means Wolves boss Stale Solbakken has time to check on the Cameroon international as the Championship side's next game is not until October 20th at Huddersfield.
