Stale Solbakken has admitted he is in England for a meeting, but refused to confirm or deny whether it was with Wolverhampton Wanderers.

But Norwegian won't reveal if he is in discussions with Wolves

Stale Solbakken has admitted he is in England for a meeting, but refused to confirm or deny whether it was with Wolverhampton Wanderers. The former Norway international, who lost his job as coach of Bundesliga side Cologne earlier this season, has emerged as a leading contender for the Wolves job. SkyBet have made Solbakken favourite for the role after a flood of bets backing him to take the Molineux post. Now, speaking to the Scandinavian media, he has revealed that he was in England holding a meeting. "Yes, I have a meeting, but otherwise I have nothing to say," said Solbakken, who admitted he was in Britain. Asked if he was meeting Wolves, he told Danish website Sporten: "I am just at a meeting, I will not say anything more about with whom or about what." Wolves, who have been relegated with Terry Connor in charge, are known to be considering their managerial options as they look to begin life back in the Championship.
