Midfielder back from hamstring injury

Wolves midfielder Karl Henry has returned to training ahead of Saturday's crunch Premier League relegation battle against Bolton at Molineux. The 29-year-old former Stoke player has been sidelined for the past three weeks with a hamstring injury and during his absence the club have slipped to the bottom of the table under caretaker manager Terry Connor. But Henry, who joined Wolves in 2006, is hoping he can inspire the side to three points against the Trotters, who are currently four points ahead of them with a game in hand. Henry told the club's official website: "I thought I'd be back a bit quicker and got it in my head I'd be back after 10 days but that's probably because I've never had a hamstring injury before. "I tested it out over the weekend and it felt fine so I was good to train and came through it okay. I tested it to the max and it felt alright. "I just need to maybe look after it through the week in training but I should be raring to go and available for selection (against Bolton)."

Result

Wolves have been on a disastrous run in 2012, winning just one of their last 16 league matches and shipping 21 goals in their last six. And Henry believes that it is vital for Wolves to end that run on Saturday, otherwise they will be cut adrift at the bottom. "We need to get a result to stay in touch with the pack because otherwise we'll be falling away," he said. "Blackburn have had a couple of wins and Wigan and QPR have won games, and we haven't had that yet. We need to address that on Saturday."
