Midfielder thankful problem is not more serious

Wolves midfielder Karl Henry says his hamstring injury is not as serious as he initially feared despite being ruled out for three to four weeks. Former skipper Henry suffered the setback during the first half of Sunday's 5-0 defeat by Fulham at Craven Cottage. After undergoing a scan on Monday afternoon which confirmed the extent of the injury, Henry is now hoping to be back in action before the end of the month. Wolves face Norwich on March 24th and then take on Bolton on March 31th. Henry said: "I sprinted and bust a gut to try and stop a cross but, as I stretched, I must have over-stretched and felt something in my hamstring. "I was maybe in denial for a couple of minutes, thinking it would improve, and it was (Fulham striker) Andy Johnson who said I probably ought to go off!

Good news

"It's done now but, having had the scan, it's not as bad as I first thought it might be which is really good news. "I've spoken to other people who have had hamstring problems and Matt Jarvis was out for 12 weeks once which is the worst case scenario. "It's looking like three to four weeks so hopefully I can make it back in three weeks (by March 24) and be back fairly soon." Henry added: "I've had a couple of injuries here and there at Wolves and usually impact injuries or the weight of someone's leg on my knee ligament. "It's the first soft muscle tissue injury I've had and hopefully it's the last. "I'll miss at least a couple of games which isn't great, particularly the Blackburn one coming up on Saturday."
