McLeod still open to Wolves

Milton Keynes Dons' Izale McLeod remains keen on joining Wolves.

Milton Keynes Dons' Izale McLeod remains keen on joining Wolves but is in no rush make the step up from League One.

The 21-year-old was close to joining the Midlands outfit in January before manager Glenn Hoddle opted for Tomasz Frankowski.

McLeod was flattered by Wolves' interest and is hoping a deal can be revived, but would not be too downhearted if he remains with MK Dons.

"It's flattering for a big club like Wolves to show an interest in me, but it didn't happen," said McLeod.

"If something happens in the summer, I'll be delighted. If it doesn't, then I'll just have to keep working hard.

"I've always said I want to play at the highest level possible and if that comes in the summer, then great.

"I know my opportunity will come to play at the highest level, so I'm not impatient or in a rush."
