Richard Dunne, Kevin Kilbane and Ciaran Clark have pulled out of Ireland's squad to face Norway.

Dunne, Kilbane and Clark ruled out

Richard Dunne, Kevin Kilbane and new call-up Ciaran Clark have all been forced to pull out of the Republic of Ireland squad ahead of their friendly with Norway on Wednesday. Dunne played 90 minutes for Aston Villa against Manchester United on Saturday, but he will not link up with his country due to a knee problem. Clark was in line to make his Irish debut after switching his allegiance from England, but he has suffered a calf problem. Kilbane played an hour of Hull's win over Preston on Friday, but he has been forced out with a back complaint. The trio join Robbie Keane (ankle), Caleb Folan (knee) and Paul McShane (thigh) on the list of absentees, but manager Giovanni Trapattoni does not intend to bring in any new faces for the Aviva Stadium friendly.
