Midfielder returns to parent club for treatment.

Oldham loanee Jason Jarrett has returned to Preston North End for treatment after suffering a groin injury during the Latics 3-0 defeat at Swindon on Saturday. The midfielder, who has played 13 times for the Latics, is now expected to miss the League One outfit's home clash against Leyton Orient on Saturday. It is a blow for Oldham as the 28-year-old has been in good goal-scoring form for the team recently, netting three goals. This blow comes after an ankle injury earlier in the season and his absence may mean Andy Liddell returns to Oldham's starting line-up. Liddell, 34, replaced Jarrett from the bench last Saturday and is likely to start if Gary McDonald fails to recover in time from his hamstring problem.
