Keeper in no hurry to relinquish Clarets gloves

Burnley goalkeeper Lee Grant is focused on keeping the No.1 jersey at Turf Moor as he closes on 50 league starts for the club. The former Sheffield Wednesday keeper could potentially reach his half-century for the Clarets in their trip to Nottingham Forest next month. The 28-year-old struggled to oust loyal servant Brian Jensen after arriving from the Owls in 2010, but has made the jersey his own this season. However, the keeper insists he never takes his place in the starting line-up for granted. "It is all about trying to play as many games as possible and then aim to stay in the team and after that what will be will be I guess," Grant told skysports.com. "You just want to be in the manager's plans and at the minute I am, so I'm enjoying myself and long may that continue. "I'm just hoping to rack up as many appearances for this club as I can and help this club achieve things whilst doing so."
