On-loan striker is planning to shoot down Seagulls at Pride Park

Tamas Priskin is looking stay on the goal trail when he makes his home debut for Derby against Brighton on Tuesday night. The Hungarian striker got off to flying start for the Rams when he netted the opener in their 3-1 defeat at West Ham on Saturday - just two days after arriving on loan from Ipswich. And the 25-year-old, who had made just one appearance for the Tractor Boys this campaign, believes there were plenty of positives despite the defeat against the Hammers. "West Ham are one of the best teams in the Championship and I thought we matched them for the majority of the game," said Priskin. "It was good to score on my debut, I just wish it could have helped us to a point or win. I think it will be a good game against Brighton and hopefully we can get a result." Despite his lack of first-team action so far this season, Priskin feels he is in great shape for the clash with Gus Poyet's Seagulls after playing the full 90 minutes at Upton Park. Priskin added on the club's official website: "I felt good and sharp. I got the goal as well which boosted my confidence. To play 90 minutes was good, I've not done it anywhere near enough in the last year. "We've got lots of games coming up so it's a good chance for me to get match sharp quickly." Priskin is looking to help Nigel Clough's Derby halt a run of four successive Championship defeats.
