Crewe midfielder James Bailey has been rewarded for his recent good form by signing a new and improved deal at the Alexandra Stadium.
The 20-year-old has committed himself to Alex until 2011 after establishing himself as a first-team regular this season.
The Macclesfield-born youngster came through the Alex academy before making his first-team debut against Doncaster last season.
Gary Roberts' loan move to Yeovil this summer opened the door for Bailey in central midfield and he has taken full advantage, starting all of Crewe's 12 league games so far this season.
