Wolves have captured loan defender Neill Collins on a permanent transfer from Sunderland. The 23-year-old has signed a three-and-a-half year contract at Molineux for an initial £150,000 fee which could rise to £250,000 depending on appearances and promotion for Wanderers.
Collins has made three appearances for Wolves since first joining the club from the Black Cats in November.
He said: "I am delighted everything is sorted now, I have been here for a while on loan but now I can focus on the future - not just for this season but beyond that.
"It has been a frustrating period for me because I came here from Sunderland wanting to play but have only recently got into the team.
"I spoke to the manager a couple of times about it but I think he would have questioned my motivation if I had not been frustrated so he kept telling me I would have a role and to just be patient."
