McClaren persuades midfielder to stay at City Ground
Skysports.com understands Guy Moussi has agreed a new deal to stay at Nottingham Forest.
Moussi was expected to leave Forest this summer following the expiry of his contract.
New Forest boss Steve McClaren admitted keeping Moussi on a new deal was one of his main priorities after taking charge at the City Ground and it appears he has convinced the midfield powerhouse to stay put.
A number of clubs were thought to be keen on signing Moussi, but the Frenchman is believed to have agreed a three-year deal.
The news will come as a major boost to McClaren as he prepares for the new season with the club yet to make significant progress in this summer's transfer window.
