Skysports.com understands Peterborough are planning a double swoop on MK Dons for Sam Baldock and Stephen Gleeson.
The Championship new boys have made striker Baldock and midfielder Gleeson two of their top summer transfer targets.
MK Dons have already rejected a bid from Posh for Baldock as they try to keep hold of their star forward.
However, the London Road outfit are now believed to have come back with a new double bid for Baldock and Gleeson.
Posh boss Darren Ferguson is thought to be a big admirer of Baldock and Gleeson and is hoping to tempt MK Dons into parting company with the pair.
